About Visible Dynamics
Visible Dynamics was set up to bring an understanding of how the human brain works to the worlds of project management and business transformation

Carole Osterweil is the transformation troubleshooter and coach behind Visible Dynamics.
Carole’s also the author of the book Project Delivery, Uncertainty and Neuroscience – A Leader’s Guide to Walking in Fog. Her pioneering approach brings an understanding of how the human brain works to the world of project management and business transformation.
Eternally optimistic yet grounded in reality. Carole is on a mission – to make the human dynamics which get in the way of delivery more visible.
She’ll help you and your team work out how to:
- increase productivity and improve outcomes with less stress.
- deliver results when the goalposts are constantly shifting. You know what happens – the political situation changes, a new stakeholder or something like Covid19 arrives on the scene. Suddenly what you were working towards has morphed into something completely different.
- respond effectively when the environment, your project or your organisation is not behaving the way it should.
Carole has worked for many years as an educator and consultant at Ashridge-Hult, one of Europe’s leading business schools. She has developed the skills of hundreds of leaders to read and influence the relationship and organisation dynamics that undermine delivery.
Carole is one of a select team of Project Academy coaches working in partnership with Cranfield University and PA Consulting. Their brief is to build the UK Government’s senior change, project and programme.management capability.
She also works with HEC in Paris on the Atos Gold Programme.
Wind the clock back and you’ll find Carole started out as a technologist. She became intrigued at the number of times apparently well-designed systems and processes failed to deliver. This discovery set her on the path to gaining a Cranfield MBA, and training in neuroscience and psychotherapy. Carole became an accredited Executive Coach in 2003.
